Honeymoon period is over
PJ is home from the hospital.He is doing much better thank god!!He had a bleed between his brain and his skull but NOT in his brain. They gave him factor all day and all night and they said it looks much better. The Dr.'s say he pretty much has to keep his helmet on 24/7 now.I was so upset but he did pretty good. They got the vein in 2 times. Then about 2 weeks later he got another bleed in his right hand He woke up and the palm of his hand was black, So Wed and Thursday we were at the HTC he needed factor both days. We had to see how he was feeling . I feel so bad for him he dont wanna hold no toys or anything in his lil hand. They told me that the honeymoon period is over.Then This Tuesday we went back to the HTC and he got more factor and did an Inhibitor test. He had 7 factor treatments with in like 13 or 14 days so they just wanna check. Lets hope it come back good. NO INHIBITOR PLEASE!!!! Cross your fingers. They also said that he has a higher chance because of my family history

i'm so sorry, joanne. we have been through the brain bleed with evan and i know how terrifying it is. if you ever need to talk, please email me. i don't know that i can say the right words to help ease your mind and pain over this. but i am here if you need to talk.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. He is doing better now but he has so many black and blues all over his body just from playing on the floor on mats. I called the HTC about all his black and blues and they said he dont need factor for that I hope they are right
